Every night I have been falling asleep in a sea of crystals. It started one evening when I accidentally dozed off after putting aragonite, smoky quartz, and black obsidian next to me. Typically I take a sleeping aid. So I was awestruck that a group of “grounding” crystals could have a comparable effect. When it worked the first night, I repeated it for a second night, then a third, then a fourth. These crystals were so effective at sending me off to sleep that I was able to replace my sleep aid with crystals, almost entirely.
Then, I took it a step further. I had read sometime back that putting crystals by your head at night will enhance dreaming. Some specific crystals are good for this, like amethyst. I don’t own much amethyst so I experimented a little. I tried snow quartz that I gathered from my walks out in nature, striated quartz, and spirit quartz (which is a variety of amethyst). Sometimes I’d add only one crystal by my head, then other times two or three. Now, not only was I relaxed and sleeping well with grounding crystals, but my dreams became pure magic.
So far my own adventure in crystals has been an enlightening one. It has taught me that their power goes well beyond just physically healing the body, and that the crystals are also here to walk us through deeper and more meaningful realms of existence both in our waking lives and as we sleep. It is as though, in the most spiritual sense, that they were uniquely and intelligently designed to be mankind’s best friends.
