There it is. My art desk where all of the fairy “art” magic happens. I guess I’m posting this today because I’m in a creative mood. I’m getting a camera lucida in the mail today, which will help me so much with sketching.
Up until now I’ve been sketching every single one of my drawings by eye. It can be a daunting process that takes time… too much time. Time that I could spend coloring in artwork and actually getting it finished. I’m feeling really hopeful about how much this device could elevate the whole artistic experience for me and accelerate the rate at which I finish artwork. And of course my head is spinning with ideas of what I could draw next.
